It ceased to provide service in 1885 when Siam joined the Universal Post and started its own international postal service. Siam issued its first stamps the Solet series on 4th. of August 1883.

Stamps Of Cambodia - South East Asia

Cambodia used postage stamps of Indo-China until the early 1950s. In 1949, Cambodia became associated with French Union but  gained independence in 1953 and left the union in 1955.  The first stamps were issued in 1951 with Royaume du Cambodge.  One of the stamps depicted King Norodom Sihanouk.  The National United Front of Cambodia took over Cambodia in 1975 and established Democratic Kampuchea. The new regime allowed no civilian private communication  and so abolished the postal system. Service resumed in the early 1979 when the Vietnam People's Army drove the Khmer Rouge out of Phnom Penh. April 1980 saw the first set of postage stamps being issued after the establishment of the People's Republic of Kampuchea.

Calligraphy is the visual art of writing by a calligrapher, the artist who possesses the lettering technique using writing instruments such as dip pen or brush to inscribe words. With a long history of craftsmanship and tradition, calligraphy has been used for centuries to convey messages beautifully and elegantly. Besides the Malays with their Arabic calligraphy, the Chinese and the Indians too also preserved their  own language and calligraphic traditions. Today calligraphy continues to flourish in the form of religious art, poetry  writing, commissioned calligraphy art, typography designs, personalized invitations, original hand-lettered logo design, cut stone inscriptions, memorial documents and many more.
