This joint issue between Malaysia and Thailand features stamps that portray marine creatures found in the respective countries - two in Malaysia and the other two in Thailand. Nudibranchs are basically sea slugs with no external or internal shell and are often referred to as the " jewels of the sea " while Phyllorhiza Punctata is a species of jellyfish that is often found near coastal waters throughout Malaysia. The other two are found in Thailand and one of which is Hymenocera Picta a type of shrimp which lives in pairs in cracks and crevices of coral reef and are permanent residents of its chosen locality while the other creature is a coral guard crab known as Trapezia Areolata which can be found living among branching corals ie submassive corals.
