The Ottoman Empire provinces of Bosnia Herzegovina were militarily administered by Austria-Hungary as decided by the Congress of Berlin ( 1878 ) before their annexation in 1908. There is no country name ( only the Habsburg coats of arms ) - stamps are not shown here before the landscapes issue in 1906.
