Golden Horde is a name given to the Mongol Empire in Eastern Europe ( Crimea ). One of the founders was Jeni Beg, a grandson to the great Ghengis Khan. After his assassination in 1395, he was succeeded by rulers like Khizr Khan and Toqtamish. It was said that Jeni Beg hurled his dead soldiers infected with Black Plague into enemy fortress to weaken it for capture. In other words, he was the first army general to use biological warfare to counter enemies or capture enemy lines.
