5. Old Stamps Of French Somaliland ( Formerly Afrique Equatoriale Francaise - Now Republic Of Djibouti - Africa )
There is a difference between French Somaliland and British Somaliland / Italian Somaliland in terms of country names. After independence, the French Somaliland is known as Republic of Djibouti . British Somaliland and the Italian Somaliland merged together and achieved independence on the 1st. of July 1960 to form the Republic of Somalia.
