Deutsche Bundespost which means German Federal Post Office was created in 1947 in the Trizone
( German regions ruled by Britain, America and the French after World War II ) as a successor to the Reichpost (German Imperial Post Office ) .   Between 1947 and 1980, the enterprise was called Deutsche Bundespost ( German Federal Post Office ). Until 1989 the Deutsche Bundespost was a state-owned company.

Forty eight years ago, South East Asian nations joined hands to form an association that would help bring about a region of peace, freedom and prosperity. And today we recognize our forefathers' visionary leadership which made Asean as it is today - the 7th. largest economy in the world and 3rd. in Asia.  This year Malaysia was appointed as the Chairman of Asean for the 4th. time.

Malaysian First Day Cover - The Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah Bridge, Penang - Issued 31st. December 2014.

The Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah Bridge, also known as Penang Second Bridge is dual carriageway cable stayed bridge connecting Batu Kawan in Seberang Prai on mainland Peninsular Malaysia with Batu Maung on Penang. Island. It is the longest bridge in Southeast Asia with a total length of 24 km and 16.9 km on water.  Construction of the bridge started in November 2008 and was completed in February 2014.  The bridge which was named after the 14th. Yang Dipertuan Agong , Tuanku Abdul Halim Mua'adzam Shah of Kedah was officiated by the Prime Minister on March 1st. 2014, and was opened to the public on March 2nd. 2014.
