Malaysian First Day Covers and Newly Released Stamps - Festival Food - Kadazan Dusun And Dayak - 16 March 2017

This edition of stamps on Festival Food in Malaysia is the second in the series of four. It portrays the special food served by the ethnic Kadazandusun and Dayak of Sabah and Sarawak during the festivals of Kaamatan and Gawai. The mix of various ethnic groups living in harmony contributes to the colour and diversity in Malaysia. Each of the ethnic groups has its own festival that is celebrated and shared with others. There are also special dishes that are prepared and served in conjunction with their festivals. This second edition in the series of Festival Food, portrays the food specially prepared for the Kaamatan in Sabah and Gawai Festival in Sarawak.
