Malaysian Stamps and First Day Covers - The Coronation Of The 15th. Yang di-Petuan Agong - 24th April 2017

Sultan Muhammad V was born on the 6th. of October 1969 in Kota Bahru the capital city of Kelantan State. His Majesty received his early education at Sultan Ismail I school in Kota Bahru and later furthering  his education at the International School of Kuala Lumpur before being appointed as the Crown Prince of Kelantan at the age of 16 on October the 6th. 1985. His deep interest in knowledge and education enabled him to further his studies at Oakham School in England until 1989. His Majesty then continued his Diplomatic Studies at St. Cross Collage, Oxford England and later at Oxford Center in Islamic Studies until 1991. On the 3rd. of September 2010, his Majesty was then elected as the 29th. ruler of Kelantan State using the name of Sultan Muhammad V. On December 13rd. 2011, his majesty was chosen as the 14th. Deputy of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong ( Head of all the state rulers ) by the Malaysian Council Of Rulers. His Majesty was officially conferred as the 15th. Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia. at Istana Negara ( the official residence of head of state rulers. ) where all the state rulers and other important dignitaries were present during the coronation.
