Japanese Occupational Currencies - Oceania Island States

During the Second World War, the Oceania Island States could not escape the wrath of the Japanese army.  Islands like The Gilberts, Soloman, New Britain and Papua New Guinea were finally subdued  by the invading troops. Paper money written with shilling and pound were introduced on the islands.
